Todd Wright has been a regular panelist on TAILGATE OVERTIME for Sun Sports and FSN South since 2006.
His other work for the network include SPORTS TALK LIVE, REC WAREHOUSE COLLEGE KICKOFF,
football previews, fantasy football analysis and various other sports commentary.
Wright began his sports career as a student at the University of Miami where he served as the sports
director of WVUM and broadcasted live Hurricane football, basketball and baseball events. He worked as
the National Sports Talk Host for ESPN from 1996 to 2005 and is currently the host for THE SPORTING NEWS.
Most recently Wright has been the Anchor and on-course reporter covering live events for the PGA Tour Network
and on-air contributor to both the Grey Goose 19th Hole and the Top 10 series on The Golf Channel. He is also
the host the of the show, "Todd Wright Tonight," which airs coast to coast in most major markets and is also
carried on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Prior to working on national radio, Wright hosted local shows in Tampa, Miami, and Orlando, and was the first
ever weekday afternoon drive sports host in the Orlando area. He has also written for Pro Football Weekly, NHL.com
and The Sporting News. Throughout his career, Wright has attended every major sporting event in North America
(Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, All BCS Bowls, Final Four, The Masters, Daytona 500,
US Open Tennis, Olympics).
Wright is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He moved to Florida with his grandparents many years ago
and have called the state his home ever since.
