Steve Walsh, age 40, has been a panelist for TAILGATE OVERTIME on Sun Sports and FSN Florida since 2006.
In addition to his work on TAILGATE OVERTIME, Walsh has been involved in GRIDIRON GREATS and was an analyst for the
UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW SPECIAL.
Walsh graduated from the University of Miami in 1989 with a Bachelors degree in Business Finance.
He was the starting quarterback for the 1987 National Champions Miami Hurricanes.

Walsh was an All American in 1988 and a Heisman Trophy finalist, finished 4th, after recording a 23-1 record as starter.
He is a member of the University of Miami Hall of Fame as well as the Orange Bowl Hall of Fame.
Walsh was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1989 supplemental draft as the first overall pick by
his collegiate coach, Jimmy Johnson. He went on to an 11 year career with Dallas, New Orleans, Chicago,
St. Louis, Tampa, and Indianapolis. He was the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears in 1994 and
led the Bears to a first round playoff victory in his hometown against the Minnesota Vikings.
Walsh is from St. Paul, Minnesota but currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. He works as a sales
manager with Countrywide Home Loans in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Walsh has two daughters, Haille and Jordan,
and a son, Cameron. In his spare time he is an avid golfer and ice hockey player.
