Sweepstakes Dates: The Chevrolet Rods Reels Racing Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 7:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on 5/29/08 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on 6/28/08 (the "Promotion Period").
Who is Eligible: To enter, you must be a legal resident of the United States (excluding residents of NY, RI Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions), age 18 or older. Employees, officers, directors, members, assigns, shareholders and agents of General Motors Corporation, Chevrolet Motor Division (collectively, the "Sponsors"), Sun Sports/FSN Florida ("Administrator"), participating Chevrolet dealers, Daytona International Speedway, LLC, the Daytona Beach Racing & Recreational Facilities District, the City of Daytona Beach and the County of Volusia and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated the design or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Promotion Parties"), and the members of the immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households, whether or not related, of any of the above, are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.
How to Enter: Visit sunsportstv.com during the Promotion Period and follow the directions provided to complete and submit an official entry form. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on 6/28/08 to be eligible. Entrants must complete all required information on the entry form to be eligible. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are void. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit will be void.
All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Promotion Parties are not responsible for: (i) entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, inaccurate, damaged, destroyed, misdirected, undelivered, delayed, garbled or not received by the Promotion Parties or their respective agents for any reason, or for any entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules and all such entries will be void; or (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider, software or telephone transmissions, damage to entrants' or any person's computer and/or its contents, or causes that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes; or (iv) any other errors or problems relating to or in connection with this Sweepstakes, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. All incomplete or non-conforming entries will be disqualified. Sponsors shall have the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who disrupts the administration of this Sweepstakes, who intends to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor representative or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules and void all associated entries. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify or terminate any portion of the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy or threaten the integrity of any portion of the Sweepstakes or if a computer virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention or other causes destroy or threaten the integrity of any portion of the Sweepstakes, in the opinion of the Sponsors/Administrator, or if a problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsors/Administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of early termination of any portion of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors/Administrator reserve the right to conduct the drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of such termination. In the event a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the mail address submitted at the time of entry and such person must meet the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person who was assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winner(s) may be requested to provide proof to the Sponsors/Administrator that he/she is the authorized account holder. Any damage made to a website will also be the responsibility of the authorized email account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of sending entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors.
Winner Selection: A random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator on or about 6/29/08 to select the potential Grand Prize and First Prize winners from among all eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Each potential winner will be notified initially by phone beginning approximately on or about 6/29/08 and asked to confirm his/her eligibility, and indicate his/her willingness to accept the Grand Prize or First Prize as described below. Upon confirmation of his/her eligibility as well as his/her willingness to accept prize, such potential winners may be required to execute and return a W-9 form, an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, unless prohibited by law, publicity release as well as any other documents provided by prize supplier within a time period specified by Administrator. If a potential winner is ineligible or otherwise fails to return such documents within the specified time period fully-executed, or if Administrator is unsuccessful after three (3) attempts to reach and speak directly with any potential winner by phone or email over a 48-hour period, a potential winner cannot or does not wish to accept the prize or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and, at Sponsors' discretion, an alternate winner will be randomly selected and notified as per the procedures outlined above. Failure to collect or properly claim a Grand Prize or First Prize in accordance with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, Sponsors will have no further obligation to such winner and may, at their sole discretion, randomly select an alternate winner who will be notified as per the procedures outlined above. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein.
Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: An exclusive VIP experience for two (2) at the "Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola" ("Race") scheduled to take place on 7/5/08 at Daytona International Speedway®. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars). The Grand Prize will include two (2) grandstand tickets to the Race and two (2) pre race Chevy hospitality passes. Seat locations to be determined by Sponsors. Winner and guest must comply with all track rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion(s) of prize. The winner must provide own transportation to the Race. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including transportation, food, lodging, meals and incidentals. Tickets and passes are subject to certain terms and conditions specified thereon. Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the value of the prize as he/she will be responsible for paying all federal, state and local taxes on prize One Hundred (100) First Prizes: A Chevy Rods Reels Racing long sleeve t-shirt and a Chevy cap (sizes to be determined by Sponsors). ARV: $15.00 (Fifteen Dollars) each. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsors.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at Administrator's/Sponsors' sole discretion. Administrator/Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance or use not specified herein as being awarded. All prize details are at Sponsors' sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per household for the entire Sweepstakes. Total ARV of all prizes is $2,000.00 (Two Thousand Dollars). All prize details are at Sponsors' discretion.
Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors and the Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. In the event a winner is found to be in violation of any of these Official Rules, he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse the Sponsors for the stated value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used by winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsors and their respective designees to use each winner's name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity, without limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By participating, entrant further agrees to release and hold Promotion Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), participation in the Sweepstakes, and assumes all liability in connection therewith.
